Nokia 9.2 will debut in the first half of 2020; a report has claimed. The new development comes just weeks after a rumor stating the existence of the Nokia 9.2 mobile as the successor to the Nokia 9 Pure View has popped up.
A rumor claims that the new Nokia flagship would be delayed until autumn of this year. In addition to the Nokia 9.2, the company brand licensee HMD Global is said to have a foldable phone in the works.
The Nokia 9.2 mobile is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and not showcased at MWC 2020 in Barcelona next month but, it will launch in the first half of this year 2020, rumors Nokia focused blog Nokia Power User, citing an anonymous tipster.
HMD Global was originally rumored to have the Nokia 9.1 PureView is the line-up to succeed the Nokia 9 PureView with 855 SoC. However, the company was reported to focus on the Nokia 9.2 with the latest Snapdragon 865 Soc instead of the Nokia 9.1 PureView.
The Nokia 9.2 smartphone will offer a great camera experience with a price tag close to the Nokia 8.2 mobile. Previously, the Nokia 9 PureView was launched in India in at Rs 49,999, besides the Nokia 8 Price is Rs 36,999.
A separate report from Nokiamob.net said that HMD Global is in plans to bring its foldable phone along with Nokia 9.2. The Nokia Foldable phone is said to arrive at later 2020 or early 2021 with a clamshell design similar to the Motorola Razr (2019).
HMD Global is also reported to be working on wireless charging pods that it would showcase at MWC 2020.
The Nokia 9.2 smartphone will feature a bezel-less display and an upgraded selfie camera with 32MP or 48MP resolution. This Nokia new mobile also has wireless charging support, excludes a 3.5mm headphone jack, and expected to debut after June 20, 2020.
